Land donation is the non decaying donation for cows (Revered Swami Sharnadutt Ji Maharaj). There is a great importance of land donation for cows for wandering and grazing in holy tradition in universal Hindu culture. In ved (Hindu scripture) it is called non decaying secreed (punya). The donation which is never completed, destroyed is called akshay. The mother earth is immortal so the land is never destroyed completed or declined so land donation is called non-decaying donation.

In the traditional civilization of Indian management the area of a village or town was divided into equal two parts when it was founded the half of the land area was used for residence, industries, market, agriculture and other use and remaining half of the land area was left for grass land for cows called gochar. The place of gomata was considered the highest place in both states of people and Gods. The more king of men and Gods or public go in the shelter or nearer to the cow he will become a greater man or God or an incarnation. In our ancestors there were so many Gods, rishi (hermits) emperors and incarnation who were great cow devotees. They were our ancestors. We are the descendant of those great men live in this nation. So first of all we should be save the grass land or the cows to keep the holy universal gopalan culture alive.

From time immemorial, in India, the Vedic tradition has encouraged an Agrarian based civilization. Cows have always played a pivotal role in the Vedic Agrarian society. The Cow is revered as the most sacred animal to Hindus, a fact that is evidenced by the dedication of several hymns and rituals, reverentially addressing it as GOMATHA (divine mother cow) in all the sacred scriptures including Vedas and Puranas. Gomatha is a symbolic representation of 33 crore Gods who are said to hold positions in various parts of a cows body. As a representation of the divine, all auspicious ceremonies and rituals involve the Cow and its produce. Everything from, milk, butter, ghee, curd, cheese, even the cows dung and urine are considered very sacred in Hindu Vedic tradition.
